Real AI skills for the world your student will actually work in. Students earn AI credentials with hands-on resources and tools, receive résumé support, and learn through engaging online modules, available this fall.
Courses marked CLEP prepare students to take the corresponding CLEP® exam. CLEP® exams allow students to earn 3 or more introductory college credits by testing out of subjects they’ve already mastered—and through Freedom, students can take the exam for free. Dr. Nathan Poteet brings over 14 years of experience as a teacher and administrator with K-12 students in Collier County, where he helped lead two schools from a “C” to an “A” rating. He served as the founding principal of The Freedom Institute of Collier County before stepping into his role as Executive Director of Programs and AI. Dr. Poteet earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University and is certified in Educational Leadership K-12, Exceptional Student Education K-12, Elementary Education K-6, and Physical Education K-12. He believes every student deserves a tailored education aligned with their unique needs and interests.

Ms. Nicole Johns brings more than 11 years of experience in special education, instructional coaching, and administration. She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Special Education from Florida Gulf Coast University. She believes education should cultivate leadership, innovation, and citizenship in every student.
